About "Explore Teignmouth"

Welcome to the definitive independent guide to Teignmouth.

For a long time, we noticed something missing. While our beautiful coastal town boasts historic Georgian charm, a vibrant arts scene, a historic Victorian pier, and an incredible local food community, there wasn’t a single, modern digital hub dedicated to showcasing it all in one place.

We decided to change that. Explore Teignmouth was built to bridge the gap, providing locals and visitors alike with a highly visual, comprehensive, and up-to-date roadmap to everything our seaside town has to offer. From the independent shops tucked away in the backstreets to the local businesses that keep our economy thriving, this site is a digital storefront for Teignmouth.

Peat & Curtis

Behind the Project

This platform isn’t run by a distant corporate agency or a rigid municipal board. It is a collaborative passion project built natively right here in Devon.

Explore Teignmouth was created and is maintained through an informal, community-first partnership between two local digital agencies: Peat & Curtis and Stoneberg Media.

By day, we run independent businesses focused on web development, local SEO, cinematic videography, and digital marketing. By night, we pool our skills, cameras, and code together to build and expand this platform entirely from scratch. We work together informally because we share a unified goal: to elevate our town’s digital footprint above the noise and give our local community the modern online presence it truly deserves.

Why We Built Explore Teignmouth

Supporting Businesses

Teignmouth thrives on its independent cafés, retailers, and trades. We wanted to build a high-performance engine that drives foot traffic and visibility straight to their doors.

A Modern Visitor Experience

Finding beach guides, local events, and town history shouldn't require digging through outdated portals. We focus on clean UX and high-quality visuals to make exploring effortless.

100% Independent | Community Driven

Because this project is entirely self-funded and managed by us, we remain completely objective, authentic, and agile. We build features based strictly on what the town needs.

We'd Love To Hear From You
