Explore Teignmouth is operated by Peat & Curtis, based in Teignmouth, Devon, United Kingdom. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” throughout these terms refer to the operator of Explore Teignmouth. References to “you” refer to any person accessing the website or subscribing to our services.

Use of the Website
You may use exploreteignmouth.com for lawful purposes only. You must not use this website in any way that breaches applicable local, national, or international law or regulation, or that is fraudulent, harmful, or in any way offensive or objectionable.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website at our discretion without notice where we believe these terms have been breached.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any content, particularly business listing information which is provided by third party businesses. We accept no liability for any inaccuracies in business listing content submitted by business owners.
Business Listing Subscriptions
Eligibility
Business listings on Explore Teignmouth are available to businesses operating in or directly serving Teignmouth, Shaldon, Bishopsteighton, and the immediately surrounding area. We reserve the right to decline any listing application at our sole discretion without obligation to provide a reason.
Subscription Plans
We currently offer one listing tier, Basic, at the prices published on our List Your Business/Membership page at the time of subscription. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are subject to change. Existing subscribers will be given no less than 30 days notice of any price change.
Payment and Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis. Payment is processed securely by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis until cancellation. You will receive a payment receipt from Stripe each month.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to process the payment again within 3 to 7 days. If payment continues to fail your listing may be suspended until payment is received.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at cameron@peatandcurtis.com or by managing your subscription through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for the current billing month. Your listing will remain live until the end of the paid period and will be removed within 48 hours of expiry.
What Is Included in Your Listing
A Basic listing includes a business profile page featuring your business name, description, address, phone number, email, website link, opening hours, map, and up to 4-8 gallery images.
We reserve the right to adjust the specific features included in each tier with reasonable notice to subscribers.
Your Responsibilities as a Listing Subscriber
You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted for your listing is accurate, truthful, and not misleading. You must notify us promptly of any changes to your business information by contacting cameron@peatandcurtis.com.
You confirm that any photographs submitted are owned by you, are licensed for commercial use, or that you have obtained the necessary permissions from the copyright owner. By submitting photographs you grant Explore Teignmouth a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display those photographs on exploreteignmouth.com and our associated social media channels for the duration of your subscription.
You must not submit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Listing Removal
We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing at any time without refund if we determine that the listing content violates these terms, contains false or misleading information, has received credible and substantiated complaints, or is otherwise detrimental to the reputation of Explore Teignmouth or the Teignmouth community.
No Endorsement
The inclusion of a business in the Explore Teignmouth directory does not constitute a personal recommendation or endorsement of that business, its products, or its services by us. We are not responsible for the quality of services or products provided by listed businesses.
Promotional and Sponsored Placements
From time to time we may offer additional paid promotional placements on the website, including homepage features, banner placements, and priority positioning across category pages. These placements are offered at prices published at the time of purchase and are subject to their own placement terms communicated at the time of sale. Promotional placements are clearly identified as sponsored or promoted where required by UK advertising standards.
Intellectual Property
All content on exploreteignmouth.com that is created by us, including text, design, graphics, logos, and original photography, is our intellectual property and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any of our content without our prior written consent.
Business listing content, including business descriptions and photographs, remains the intellectual property of the respective business owner. We hold a limited licence to display this content as described in the subscription terms above.
Event Listings
Event submissions to Explore Teignmouth are free of charge for standard listings. By submitting an event you confirm that the event information is accurate and that you have the authority to promote the event. We reserve the right to decline, edit, or remove any event submission at our discretion. Inclusion of an event does not constitute our endorsement of that event or its organiser.

Our website contains links to third party websites. These links are provided for convenience and information only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of exploreteignmouth.com or reliance on any information contained on it, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
