Teignmouth Carnival 2026

The spectacular Teignmouth Community Carnival returns for eight action-packed days of free family entertainment, live music, and vibrant summer celebrations. Centered around The Den on the Teignmouth Seafront, the festival hosts a bustling daily funfair alongside an incredible lineup of over 20 live musical acts and tribute bands performing on the outdoor stage. Completely verified new features for this year’s line-up include a dedicated evening laser light show, a Cask Ale event, a Carnival Bake-Off, and an open home-grown vegetable and flower competition. Throughout the week, visitors can also dive into classic community events like local quizzes, sports, games, fete stalls, bingo, and a tug-of-war competition. The ultimate crown jewel of the week is Thursday’s massive Grand Carnival Procession, featuring magnificent walking entries, local marching bands, and colourful floats parading through the town centre.
